Sanjoy Saha, Ph.D.

Sanjoy Saha, Ph.D., is a Systematic Review Analyst at the Texas A&M Agriculture, Food, & Nutrition Evidence Center. Dr. Saha holds a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from Texas Tech University. His primary research interests focus on healthy dietary intake behavior, nutrition education, dietary assessment, and food and nutrition insecurity.

With a strong foundation in research methodology and data analysis, he has garnered extensive experience in conducting systematic reviews and acquired a profound understanding of systematic review and meta-analysis techniques. Dr. Saha’s expertise in conducting rigorous analyses and critically evaluating scientific literature contributes to advancing evidence-based practices and shaping strategies for improved dietary habits and nutrition outcomes. With a dedication to promoting health and wellbeing through research, Dr. Saha is committed to making valuable contributions to the field of nutritional sciences. Dr. Saha served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Ingestive Behavior, Weight Management and Health Promotion at Pennington Biomedical Research Center before joining the Evidence Center.
