Systematic Review Analyst
Shailesh Advani works as a Systematic Review Analyst with the Texas A&M Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Evidence Center in the Nutrition and Health program. Prior to joining, Dr. Advani worked as an epidemiologist for several academic and federal agencies in assisting with evidence synthesis including the FDA and CMS. He has also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health and Georgetown University. Dr. Advani graduated with his PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Texas School of Public Health where he worked at the MD Anderson Cancer Center on cancer outcomes research. His research interests include systematic review and meta-analysis, nutrition epidemiology, chronic disease epidemiology and outcomes research. In addition, he also has worked in areas of global health. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and believes in collaborative research and team science.
